1. Platform Role and Nature of Service

CRIMSI is a subscription-based technology platform that enables freelancers, business owners, store owners, online sellers, and professionals to create digital stores or service pages.

CRIMSI acts solely as a technology enabler.

CRIMSI does not:

  • Act as a buyer or seller
  • Own, manufacture, or store products
  • Provide logistics or delivery services
  • Process customer payments for seller transactions (except subscription payments)
  • Act as an agent, broker, or intermediary in commercial transactions
  • Take commission or share in profits (except the subscription fee)

All commercial transactions occur directly between the seller and the customer.

2. No Sales, Revenue, or Growth Guarantee

CRIMSI does not guarantee:

  • Store visibility
  • Customer traffic
  • Leads or inquiries
  • Order conversions
  • Business growth
  • Revenue generation

Business success depends entirely on the user's effort, pricing, marketing, product/service quality, and customer relationships.

3. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Accuracy of business information
  • Product authenticity
  • Service quality
  • Pricing and tax compliance
  • Licensing and regulatory compliance
  • Customer communication
  • Delivery and fulfillment
  • After-sales support
  • Return and refund policies for their customers

CRIMSI does not verify the legality, quality, safety, or compliance of products or services listed by users.

4. Prohibited Businesses and Goods

The following are strictly prohibited on CRIMSI:

  • Alcohol and liquor businesses
  • Medicines and pharmaceuticals
  • Drugs and narcotics
  • Regulated or restricted goods
  • Any illegal goods or services under Indian law

If a user is found engaging in prohibited activity:

  • The account may be suspended or permanently terminated
  • No subscription refund shall be issued
  • CRIMSI reserves the right to initiate legal action under applicable Indian laws

5. Subscription and Account Deletion Limitation

Users may not permanently delete their account during an active subscription period except under the 7-day strict refund policy.

Refund is available strictly:

  • Within seven (7) days from store creation
  • Only once per user lifetime
  • Only upon permanent deletion
  • Not in case of policy violation

After the 7-day period, no refund shall be granted under any circumstances.

Users may disable certain features (including WhatsApp share functionality) through platform settings during an active subscription.

6. Third-Party Services

CRIMSI relies on third-party infrastructure including:

  • Payment gateways
  • Hosting providers
  • Cloud services
  • Communication services

CRIMSI shall not be liable for:

  • Gateway failures
  • Banking delays
  • Server downtime
  • Technical disruptions beyond reasonable control

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, CRIMSI shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business opportunity
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Seller–customer disputes
  • Delivery failures
  • Payment disputes
  • Product defects
  • Service dissatisfaction

CRIMSI's total liability, if any, shall not exceed the subscription fee paid by the user for the relevant subscription period.

8. India-Only Operations

CRIMSI currently operates only within India. International commerce, cross-border transactions, and foreign regulatory compliance are not supported at this time.

9. Legal Compliance

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws
  • Local licensing and trade regulations

CRIMSI shall not be responsible for regulatory violations committed by users.

10. No Partnership or Agency

Nothing on the platform shall be construed as creating:

  • Partnership
  • Joint venture
  • Agency relationship
  • Employment relationship

between CRIMSI and any user.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This platform and its policies shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to the use of CRIMSI.
